  • Currently, Namibia's foreign investment landscape is governed by the Foreign Investment Act (27 of 1990). However, this act is set to be replaced by the Namibia Investment Promotion Act (NIPA), which is undergoing amendments aimed at granting the private sector greater opportunities for growth and encouraging reinvestment in the country, a special Economic Zone Bill is also set to be implemented, offering attractive incentives across a range of sectors.
